libgdk-pixbuf2.0-common software package provides GDK Pixbuf library - data files, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgdk-pixbuf2.0-common
libgdk-pixbuf2.0-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgdk-pixbuf2.0-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgdk-pixbuf2.0-common *
You will get with libgdk-pixbuf2.0-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
